The 1st Jew in Canada: A Trans Tale

Appleton's Lawrence University Pride Network invites anyone with an interest in the life and times of Jacques LaFargue, the trans Jewish 18th century historical figure whose very existence challenges current perceptions of transgender history and identity. Join the LU Pride Network and S. Bear Bergman (author & storyteller) for Jacques' wild journey in story: crossing oceans, religions, genders, and centuries, mapping his life, this ancestor you never knew you had. Continue your celebration of International Trans Visibility Day on March 31, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in Lawrence University's Wriston Art Center Auditorium #224 on the campus at 613 E College Avenue, Appleton 54911.
